Where is Topolino's Terrace located?

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is located at the top of Disney’s Riviera Resort. Positioned between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, it is part of the Disney Skyliner route, making it easy to access from several other resorts and parks. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and it offers stunning rooftop views overlooking the property, especially at sunrise during breakfast.

How expensive is the character breakfast?

For adults it costs $52 and includes one entree. Kids 9 and under cost $33 and they get to pick one entree and two sides. Speciality coffees and drinks are extra.

Keep in mind kids over the age of 9 will be charged the full adult price.

Let's talk about the food.

One of the biggest surprises at the Topolino’s Terrace character breakfast is just how good the food is. Unlike many typical character meals where the experience outshines the menu, this breakfast delivers both. From the fresh pastries served in a cute paint bucket to entrées like the Wood-fired Steak and Eggs (our favorite) and Sour Cream Waffles, everything tasted elevated and a big step up from the typical buffet fare.

One of the first treats to arrive at your table is a tasty array of pastries. Served in an artist's paint bucket, it’s filled with croissants, apple turnovers, and chocolate-filled pastries, along with butter, jam, and a chocolate hazelnut spread. It’s a fun and tasty way to start the meal!

Kids get to choose between two main entrees: scrambled eggs, fruit & yogurt, or the the Mickey waffle dippers. They also get to choose two sides from a selection of: roasted potatoes, fruit cup, bacon and sausage.

The Mickey waffle dippers are certainly the most fun and we highly recommend them!

The highlights of the adult menu are without a doubt the Quiche Gruyere, Sour Cream Waffles with a chantilly orange maple syrup, and our personal favorite the Wood-fired steak and eggs which are served with a wild mushroom Conserva and roasted tomatoes over creamy polenta along with crispy potatoes and 2 eggs. For $52 and a character experience we thought this was great value (for Disney World of course)!

Which characters will we meet?

At Topolino's Terrace character breakfast you will meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. Each are dressed in adorable, Riviera themed artist outfits. Mickey is a painter, Minnie is a poet, Donald is a sculptor and Daisy is a ballerina.

The characters visit each table individually and there is plenty of time for photos and fun interactions. Our kids had a blast drawing their own portraits of the characters in line with the artistry theme of the restaurant!

Do we need to make a reservation?

Yes, and make it as early as possible. Topolino's Terrace is a very popular character breakfast and they do not have characters at their lunch or dinner seatings.

You can make a reservation through the Disney app or online: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/riviera-resort/topolinos-terrace/

Our Review: Is Topolino's Terrace Character Breakfast worth it?

Our answer is a resounding YES. Particularly if you're interested in a more elevated dining experience, Topolino's Terrace character breakfast is well worth the splurge.

We were so pleasantly surprised by just how good the food was. We also loved that the classic characters had a fun European twist that you won't see anywhere else. The whole experience seemed very relaxed compared to other character dining experiences. We never felt rushed and the scenic rooftop setting and more refined decor created a lovely ambience.

Tip: A great way to end your trip.

We made our reservations for the day we flew back home and it was a really nice way to end our trip. Topolino's Terrace is in the Riveria Resort, so you don't need a park ticket to get in.

We stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, so we simply packed up, walked over and the took an uber to the airport straight after breakfast. There is also plenty of parking if you want to drive.
